Working Principle
- Heating Principle: Using heat sources such as electricity, steam, and heat-conducting oil, the mold is made to reach the temperature required for vulcanization through heating plates, heating tubes and other devices, generally at 140℃-180℃, so that the rubber molecules undergo cross-linking reactions.
- Pressurization Principle: Relying on the hydraulic system or mechanical transmission system to provide pressure for the rubber vulcanization process, ensure that the rubber flows in the mold to fill the cavity, exhaust the gas, and make the product structure tight. The pressure is usually 10MPa-30MPa.
Structural Composition
- Main machine part: mainly includes upper and lower heating plates, with molds placed in the middle, and columns connecting the heating plates, etc., to provide space for heating and pressurization for vulcanization.
- Hydraulic system: composed of oil pumps, oil cylinders, hydraulic valves, etc., which can generate and control pressure so that the heating plate applies appropriate pressure to the mold.
- Electronic control system: including temperature controllers, pressure controllers, timers, etc., which can accurately control parameters such as vulcanization temperature, pressure and time.
Classification and specific types
- According to the operation mode: there are manual vulcanizers, semi-automatic vulcanizers and fully automatic vulcanizers. Manual vulcanizers require manual operation such as mold loading and unloading; semi-automatic vulcanizers are partially automated; fully automatic vulcanizers are fully automated, with high production efficiency and stable product quality.
- According to the structural form: there are flat vulcanizers and drum vulcanizers. Flat vulcanizers use flat molds for vulcanization and are suitable for rubber products of various shapes; drum vulcanizers use drum rollers as vulcanization components and are often used for continuous rubber products such as vulcanized tapes.
